Gillian MacLaren Jacobs born October 19th, 1982 is an American actor from the United States. Britta Perry, who is a comedian on NBC is best known for her performances in the Netflix series Love (2016-2018), Mickey Dobbs on Netflix's romantic comedy series Love (2016-2018) and Atom Eve on Invincible (2021). Mimi-Rose Howard was her recurring role on the fourth season of the HBO comedy-drama Girls (2012-2017). She has also been seen in films like Life Partners (2014), Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (2015) and Don't Think Twice (2016). Gillian MacLaren Jacobs was conceived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 19 1982. Martina Magenau Jacobs her mother is a member of the alumni relations department at Carnegie Mellon University. William F. Jacobs Jr. was an investment banker. Her father William F. Jacobs Jr. passed away in 2013. She was raised by her mother in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Her family owned the Erie Brewing Company (not to be confused with the later brewery of the identical name) in which her grandfather, John Martin Magenau Jr., served as CEO and president until the brewery ended in 1978.Jacobs began studying acting at the age of four and took acting classes on weekends at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up. She performed with the Pittsburgh Public Theater, where she was an all-time winner in the public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest, leading her to get the role of Titania in its production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. Lebanon High School in 2000, she relocated to New York City to attend the Juilliard School, where she graduated with a BFA in 2004.
